The award is presented by the President of India at a special ceremony held every year.<\/p>\n<p>The following are the criteria for selection of the awardees:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The coach should have at least 10 years of experience in coaching.<\/li>\n<li>The coach should have produced at least one international level athlete.<\/li>\n<li>The coach should have made a significant contribution to the development of sports in India.<\/li>\n<li>The coach should be a role model for other coaches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Dronacharya Award is a prestigious award that recognizes the outstanding contribution of coaches to sports in India.
