Amending Procedure<\/p>\n<p>Article 368 of the Indian Constitution deals with the procedure for amending the Constitution. It provides that an amendment can be initiated either by the Parliament or by the state legislatures. The amendment must be passed by a majority of the members present and voting in each House of Parliament and by the legislatures of not less than half of the states.
