Swami Lakshman Joo (1829â1911) was a Kashmiri Hindu philosopher, saint, and yogi. He was known as Lal Sahib (Red Lord) due to his red robes. He was a disciple of Swami Ram Tirtha and a teacher of Swami Vivekananda. He was also a close friend of Mahatma Gandhi.
Bhajan Sopori (1933â2018) was a Kashmiri Pandit musician. He was known for his playing of the santoor, a traditional Kashmiri musical instrument.
