The correct answer is Rajendra Singh.
Rajendra Singh became the first officer from the Indian Coast Guard cadre to head the force when he took charge as Director General in February 2016. Prior to him, the Director General of the Indian Coast Guard was always an officer deputed from the Indian Navy.
