Cristiano Ronaldo was honoured with the Ballon d’Or Award in 2017.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the prestigious Ballon d’Or award for the best male football player in the world for the year 2017.

This was Cristiano Ronaldo’s fifth Ballon d’Or award. The Ballon d’Or is an annual football award presented by France Football magazine. Lionel Messi is another multiple winner of this award and has often competed with Ronaldo for the top honour. Ronaldinho and Neymar are also renowned footballers but did not win the Ballon d’Or in 2017.
