The correct answer is C.
As of 2023, India’s longest road tunnel is the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel (formerly Chenani-Nashri Tunnel), located in Jammu and Kashmir on NH 44. It has a length of 9.28 kilometers.
The Atal Tunnel (9.02 km) in Himachal Pradesh and the Banihal Qazigund Road Tunnel (8.5 km twin tunnels) in Jammu and Kashmir are also significant long road tunnels in India but are slightly shorter than the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Tunnel. The Kuthiran Tunnel (twin tunnels of approx 1 km each) in Kerala is considerably shorter.
