The town is well-connected by road and rail to other parts of the state and the country. Una is also a popular tourist destination. The town is home to a number of historical and religious sites, including the Una Fort, the Una Temple, and the Una Sharif Dargah.
The climate of Una is temperate. The summers are hot and humid, while the winters are cold and dry. The best time to visit Una is during the spring (March-May) or the autumn (September-November).
