Bhabha is considered one of the pioneers of nuclear science in India, and he played a key role in the development of India’s nuclear program.

C.V. Raman was a physicist and the first Indian to win the Nobel Prize in Physics. He is best known for his discovery of the Raman effect, which is the scattering of light by matter. Raman is also credited with founding the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.
