Hockey is a team sport in which two teams play against each other by trying to maneuver a ball into the other team’s goal using a hockey stick. The game is played on a field either outdoors or indoors. The team that scores more goals by the end of the game wins.

Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outfield players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands to throw it into the other team’s goal. The team that scores more goals by the end of the game wins.

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a 22-yard (20-metre) pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The game proceeds when a player on the fielding team, called the bowler, “bowls” (propels) the ball from one end of the pitch towards the wicket at the other end. The batting side has one player at each end of the pitch, with the player at the opposite end of the pitch from the bowler aiming to strike the ball with a bat. The batting side scores runs when either the bowler unfairly bowls the ball to either side of the wicket, or alternatively when the ball reaches the boundary of the field. The fielding side’s aim is to prevent run-scoring and dismiss each player (so they are “out”, and are said to have “lost their wicket”). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the wicket and either dislodges the bails or knocks the wicket over, being caught, when a fielder catches the ball after it has been hit by the bat, and run out, when a fielder hits the wicket with the ball before the batter has had time to return to their ground at the end of the pitch.

Judo is a Japanese martial art, combat sport, and Olympic Games sport. It was created in Japan in 1882 by Jigoro Kano, combining the techniques of various jujitsu schools. Judo emphasizes the use of leverage, balance, and positioning, rather than strength or power. The goal of a judo match is to either throw one’s opponent to the ground, immobilize them on the ground, or force them to submit by applying a chokehold or joint lock.
