Prithvi Nath Dhar was an Indian nuclear physicist and a recipient of the Padma Vibhushan. He was born in 1923 in Lahore, British India (now in Pakistan). He studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and the University of Cambridge. He worked at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai. He was a member of the Indian Atomic Energy Commission. He died in 2006.
