The Bank of Central African States (BEAC) is a central bank that was established in 1959 by the Treaty of Brazzaville. The original member states of the BEAC were the Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea. Cameroon joined the BEAC in 1961.

The BEAC is responsible for issuing the common currency of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC), the Central African CFA franc. The BEAC also manages the foreign exchange reserves of the CEMAC member states and provides financial services to the governments and commercial banks of the CEMAC.

The BEAC is headquartered in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The current governor of the BEAC is Abbas Mahamat Tolli.
