Dr. Masti Venkatesh Iyengar wrote in Kannada. He was a Kannada writer, critic, and journalist. He is considered one of the greatest Kannada writers of all time. He was born in Mysore, India in 1891 and died in 1981. He was awarded the Jnanpith Award, India’s highest literary award, in 1968.
