To add a comment to a cell in Google Sheets, follow these steps:
- Select the cell you want to add the comment to.
- Click the “Insert” tab.
- Click the “Comment” button.
- A small box will appear next to the cell. Type your comment in the box.
- Click outside the box to close it.
The comment will be visible to anyone who views the spreadsheet. To edit or delete a comment, simply click on it and make your changes.
The other options are incorrect because they do not lead to the insertion of a comment.
- Home > Comments will open the “Comments” section of the “Home” tab. This section contains tools for managing comments, such as viewing, replying, and deleting comments.
