Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, was born in Siwani, Bhiwani district, Haryana, India on 16 August 1968. He is an Indian politician and the 7th and current Chief Minister of Delhi. He is the founder and national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He was the Chief Minister of Delhi from 28 December 2013 to 14 February 2014 and again from 14 February 2015 to present.

Kejriwal was born into a Punjabi family in Siwani, Bhiwani district, Haryana. His father, Gobind Ram Kejriwal, was a school teacher and his mother, Geeta Devi, was a housewife. He has two brothers, Suresh and Naveen.

Kejriwal did his schooling from the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Siwani. He then went on to study electrical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, from where he graduated in 1992. After graduating, he worked as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group for two years.

In 1995, Kejriwal quit his job at the Boston Consulting Group and joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). He served as an IRS officer for five years before resigning in 2000 to pursue a career in social activism.

In 2000, Kejriwal founded the Parivartan, a non-profit organization that worked for the betterment of the people of Delhi. He also worked as a consultant with the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) and the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP).

In 2011, Kejriwal co-founded the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with Anna Hazare. The AAP contested the 2013 Delhi Legislative Assembly election and won 28 seats, emerging as the second-largest party in the Assembly. Kejriwal was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi on 28 December 2013.

Kejriwal resigned as the Chief Minister of Delhi on 14 February 2014 after the AAP failed to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill in the Assembly. He was re-elected as the Chief Minister of Delhi on 14 February 2015.

Kejriwal is a controversial figure in Indian politics. He has been accused of being autocratic and of making false promises. However, he is also popular among the people of Delhi for his work on issues such as corruption and education.
