The correct answer is B) Section 8(1)(j). Section 8(1) of the RTI Act lists the categories of information that are exempt from disclosure.
Section 8(1)(j) exempts from disclosure “information which relates to personal information the disclosure of which has no relationship to any public activity or interest, or which would cause unwarranted invasion of the privacy of the individual”. It includes a proviso allowing disclosure if the larger public interest justifies it.
