– Given wavelength λ = 50 cm = 0.50 m.
– Velocity v = (1000 Hz) × (0.50 m) = 500 m/s.
– Distance to be travelled = 1 km = 1000 m.
– Time taken (t) = Distance / Velocity.
– t = 1000 m / 500 m/s = 2 seconds.
