Binodini Dasi (1863-1941) was a prominent figure in Bengali theatre and a pioneering actress of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Her autobiography, *Amar Katha* (My Story), provides a vivid account of her life, experiences in theatre, and the social conditions of the time. It was serialised in the magazine ‘Pravasi’ between 1910 and 1913.
