Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University is a public university located in Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. It was established in 1960 as Bhagalpur University and was renamed after Tilka Manjhi, a freedom fighter, in 1992. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in a variety of disciplines. It has 18 constituent colleges and 100 affiliated colleges.
The university is spread over an area of 1,000 acres (400 ha) in the city of Bhagalpur. It has a library with a collection of over 1 million books. The university also has a number of research centers and laboratories.
