Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.

Age Limit:
* For General Category: 21 to 25 years (born between 02 July 1999 and 01 July 2003)
* For OBC Category: 21 to 28 years (born between 02 July 1996 and 01 July 2003)
* For SC/ST Category: 21 to 30 years (born between 02 July 1994 and 01 July 2003)
* For Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit is relaxed by the number of years of service rendered in the Armed Forces, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

Educational Qualification:
* For General Duty (GD) Cadre: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
* For Technical (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil) Cadre: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in the respective discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Exam 2024 will consist of the following stages:
