Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit:
* General Category: 21 to 25 years
* OBC Category: 21 to 28 years
* SC/ST Category: 21 to 30 years
* Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit is relaxed by the number of years of service rendered in the Armed Forces plus three years.

Educational Qualification:
* General Duty (GD): A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
* Technical (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Civil): A graduate degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university.
* Commercial Pilot License (CPL): A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India.

Physical Standards:
* Height: 165 cm (General Duty) / 163 cm (Technical)
* Chest: 81 cm (General Duty) / 79 cm (Technical) (Minimum expansion of 5 cm)
* Weight: Proportionate to height.
* Medical Standards: Candidates must be medically fit as per the standards prescribed by the Indian Coast Guard.

Exam Pattern

The Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Exam 2024 will be conducted in two stages:

Stage 1: Computer-Based Examination (CBE)

Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination
