In his first visit to Mainpuri after urban civic polls, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated as well as laid foundations of projects worth Rs 412 crore in the district.
While inaugurating 23 industrial projects worth Rs 238.30 crore and laying the foundation stones of 40 development projects worth Rs 173.19 crore, the chief minister said that the government was working hard to make Mainpuri one of the most developed districts of the state.
The chief minister also unveiled the statue of Madhavrao Scindia in the presence of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and senior ministers from his cabinet.
While unveiling the statue at the ScindiaTiraha, the chief minister said everyone was shocked by his untimely death in 2001 because he was a rising star in the nation’s politics.
