In absolute numbers, Gujarat stood ninth among Indian states in mortality, whereas in terms of mortality rate, Gujarat had the seventh highest mortality rate in states with more than 750 Covid deaths.<\/p>\n<p>The data also indicated fall in Covid cases and mortality in the third year of the pandemic.
