Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday said respect and honour to Women<\/a> is part of the Chhattisgarh culture and that is why the state stood first in sex ratio across the country.<\/p>\n

Baghel was addressing the people in the 27th episode of the radio programme Lokvaani aired from Akashvani on Chhattisgarh Sarkar – Naari Shakti Ke Sarokaar.<\/p>\n

The Percentage<\/a> of women members in the Chhattisgarh Assembly is more than any other House in the country, he said.<\/p>\n

Also, there was a provision of 50 percent reservation for women in to Panchayati Raj<\/a> institutions in the state, he said.<\/p>\n

For daughters who want to become self-employed by joining Self-Help Groups through the Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission, there is a Bihaan scheme, he said.<\/p>\n
