The on Wednesday tabled anotherbill<\/u>amending theRajasthan Public Examination<\/u>(Prevention of Unfair means) Act, 1992 which gives it the power to exclude public examinations from the purview of the Act.<\/p>\n
The new bill Rajasthan Public Examination (prevention of unfair means) (Amendment) Bill, 2022 proposes to amend the existing Section 8 of the Act which provides for the state government to include in theSchedule<\/u>any public examination in respect of which it considers necessary to apply the provisions of this Act. But there is no provision for exclusion of any public examination from the Schedule to the said Act.<\/p>\n
It has been considered expedient that the state government should also have the power to exclude any public examination from the Schedule to the said Act if it considers any public examination to be governed by a new enactment.<\/p>\n
Along with the proposal of amendment in the Act of 1992, the state government is also bringing a new Bill to provide for effective measures to prevent the offences of leakage of question papers and use of unfair means at public examinations conducted for the purpose of recruitment to any post under the state government.<\/p>\n
Accordingly, the existing Section 8 of the Act is proposed to be amended suitably, said the objectives of the bill.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
