Telangana<\/a> also tops in the number of deceased donor transplants, meaning majority of the organs donated under the cadaver programme are utilized within the state. The number of donations under the states Jeevandan programme for organ donation have been on the rise over the last few years going up from 162 in 2021 to 194 in 2022. There have been 45 cadaver donations this year so far.
