Only 41,836 (1.9% of the total) apprentices, out of 21.96 lakh in the country, have been enrolled inRajasthanfrom 2016-17 to January 30, 2023, as a part of the apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961, data from the ministry of Skill development<\/a> and said.<\/p>\n

In all, 10.94 lakh people have been trained in Rajasthan in these years, informed the minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, in a reply to an unstarred question inLok Sabhaon February 6.<\/p>\n

As many as 15,191 people in Rajasthan have benefited from the Centres Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP) between 2018-19 and 2022-23 up to February 1, 2023, as per the data. It is just 3.4% of the total ESDP beneficiaries in the whole country, which stands at 4.34 lakh, according to the data<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
