The Women<\/a> Empowerment<\/a> and Child Development (WECD) minister Rekha Arya transferred Rs three crore to the bank accounts of 5,000 newly marked beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Vatsalya Yojana (MVY) for August and September. Arya said that the government is committed to taking care of such children who lost their parents or guardians to Covid or any other disease between March 1, 2020 to March 30, 2022. She said that protecting such childrens assets and legal rights are also the departments responsibilities under this scheme besides providing them monthly monetary assistance of Rs 3,000 till they turn 21 years old. She said that the WECD department in coordination with various departments has made important provisions for the beneficiaries in a coordinated manner like the facility of Atal Ayushman card by the Health<\/a> department for providing free medical treatment along with the reservation and free Education<\/a> provided by the technical education department for studies in technical educational institutions of the State.<\/p>\n
