In a big initiative to reduce carbon emissions, the Centre has grantedAndhra Pradesh<\/u>a scheme to improve its green cover outside of forests.
The programme is being taken up with the support of USAID.<\/p>\n

AP is one of the seven states including UP, Haryana, Rajasthan, Assam, Odisha and Nadu<\/u>that have been picked up to implement the Trees Outside the Forests in India (TOFI) project.<\/p>\n

This project has been designed to support farmers, local communities by strengthening Climate<\/a> resilience of Agriculture<\/a>-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture<\/a>.<\/p>\n
