It was around half of the total biomedical waste generated in Bhopal from hospitals in normal times.<\/p>\n<p>Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board(MPPCB) conducted a day to day monitoring of the biomedical waste generated from corona patients in hospitals and ensured its disposal, as per the directives of the central pollution control board issued in July 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Pollution control board officials informed there are five facilities in satellite towns and cities adjoining Bhopal that collect, incinerate and treat the bio medical waste.
