More than 1.55 lakh cattle died due to the disease in the country and affected the milk production capacity of several states including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana and Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>While 18 doctors who were instrumental in carrying out the high vaccination rate were felicitated by the government on Wednesday, the department is ensuring that the payments to the maitri volunteers who work under the UP  development board was done directly into their bank accounts.<\/p>\n<p>UP has a cattle <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/population\">Population<\/a> of 1.9 crore out of which 1.58 crore have been vaccinated.
