These structures bring numerous benefits. It keeps the moisture in tact in the forest while drinking water is ensured for both wild animals and villagers.<\/p>\n

Under the allocation received by the Forest Department in Part-2 of the Annual Action Plan 2020-21 of CAMPA fund, an earthen dam has been built in Karrepara in Pondum village in the Bijapur forest division.<\/p>\n

The people of Adiguda, Pallevaya, Patarpaara and Pondum have received EMPLOYMENT<\/a> with the construction of the 172-meter earthen dam. Its catchment area is 40.03 acres and the watershed area is 4.84 acres.<\/p>\n
