The District Residency Programme has been implemented in Madhya Pradesh from April 1. Under this, it is mandatory for every PG doctor of the government and private medical colleges of the state to do duty in the district hospital for three months. Only after this they will get the degree. On April 1, the first batch of 320 PG doctors have also registered their presence in different hospitals.<\/p>\n

Financial approval was given by the in the year 2022-23 for the District Residency Programme of the Central Government. According to the list provided by the Medical Education<\/a> Department, about 1284 PG doctors studying in MD\/MS and getting admission in the year 2021 in 20 government and private medical colleges operating in the state have been put on duty. In this, PG doctors of third\/fourth semester will be sent to rural district hospitals for three months in a phased manner. In this, doctors of 22 specialist subjects will treat patients in district hospitals.<\/p>\n

It is worthy to note here that in view of the Covid-19 epidemic, after discussion with the National Level Steering Committee headed by the Chairman of the Board of Post Graduate Medical Education, the District Residency Programme has been made mandatory for all PG students taking admission in the year 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
