The Ordinance would be promulgated after obtaining due approval of the Governor.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the assembly had unanimously adopted as private member resolution to establish the population commission of the state.<\/p>\n<p>The cabinet resolved to set up a high-powered committee to evict encroachers from the Loktak Lake, the sources said, adding that the committee will also oversee demarcation of the biggest fresh water lake in the NE region.<\/p>\n<p>It also declaredIbudhou Thangjingat Thangjing Hill, Ibudhou Koubru andLaitinkon(popularly known as Lai Pukhri\/Ikon) on Koubru hill as sacred sites under Manipur Ancient and Historical Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1976. The cabinet also approved recruitment of various posts in different departments, including 1512, in the <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/home\">Home<\/a> department.
