Chhattisgarh’s Transport on Saturday disbursed a subsidy of Rs 1.55 crore to 888 people who bought electric vehicles.<\/p>\n
Transport Minister Mohammed Akbar said the government is taking the initiative to promote electric vehicles. Under the Electric Vehicle Policy, any person purchasing an electric vehicle can get a subsidy from the government.<\/p>\n
The seller has to give his account number and IFSC code. Ten percent of the value of the vehicle, subject to a maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh, will be directly transferred by the Transport Department to the account of the buyer, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
