The government of India has made it mandatory for the to link Aadhaar details ofMGNREGAlabourers with their bank accounts for release of their payments\/wages. Due to this, there is a delay in the payment of wages of lakhs ofMGNREGA workersin the state.<\/p>\n

The Centre has also asked the state to clear payments of mates and masons for releasing its share of material payment under MGNREGA.
