Karnataka alone accounts for over 70% of the countrys total coffee production, with Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru, and Hassan districts being the States coffee heartlands.<\/p>\n<p>Coffee production had increased 34% in that country in the last two decades although the area under production had only reduced.
