The UP government is planning to come up with a new andwarehousing policy, days after the chief minister said there was enough scope of Investment<\/a> and jobs in this sector.<\/p>\n

According to the draft policy, the State Government<\/a> has proposed to give a capital subsidy of 40% to investors and an exemption in stamp duty in the range of 50-100% in keeping with the location. In central and western UP, for instance, it could be up to 50%, while in Purvanchal and Bundelkhand, the exemption could reach 100%.<\/p>\n

The investors, officials said, would be given three years to start the project from the date they are allocated land.<\/p>\n

Under the new policy, the state government has also proposed to increase the ground coverage of units to 60% from 40% currently. The investors would not only get a 75% exemption on development charges, but also a rebate on lease rent.<\/p>\n

Off the Yamuna Expressway, a logistics park would come up over 364 acres at the Tappla-Bajna urban centre. TheYamuna ExpresswayAuthority is in the process of examining the concession agreement documents.
