The Government of India has selected Ganjam as the Best District in the field of Resources<\/a>“>Water Resources<\/a> conservation and management.<\/p>\n

For the best efforts made by the District Administration<\/a> led by Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida, the Ministry of Jal Shakti has selected Ganjam for the 4th National Water Awards<\/a>, 2022.<\/p>\n

Ganjam will be conferred with the awards very soon.<\/p>\n

Under Best District category of the award, three districts are selected, of which Ganjam ranked at top.<\/p>\n

Ministry of Jal Shakti Secretary Pankaj Kumar has informed the Ganjam Collector about the selection. The Collector will be felicitated at a national-level event.<\/p>\n

The National Water Awards (NWAs) were introduced in 2018 to recognise and encourage exemplary work and efforts made by States, districts, individuals, organisations, etc., in accomplishing the governments vision Jal Samridh Bharat.<\/p>\n

It aims to sensitise the public about the importance of water and motivate them to adopt the best water usage practices.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
