The Indian government has approved the renaming of three locations in Madhya Pradesh.<\/p>\n

Highlights:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Hoshangabad Nagar will be renamed “Narmadapuram,” Shivpuri will be renamed “Kundeshwar Dham,” and Babai will be renamed “Makhan Nagar,” according to the Indian government.<\/p>\n

The MP government, led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, proposes renaming the three locations in Madhya Pradesh in 2021.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Home<\/a> Affairs gave their Consent<\/a> to the rebranding (MHA).<\/p>\n

Hoshangabad Nagar was renamed Narmadapuram after Hoshang Shah, the first fully anointed Sultan of the Malwa Sultanate<\/a> of Central India.<\/p>\n

Babai has been renamed in honour of Makhanlal Chaturvedi, a well-known journalist and poet.<\/p>\n
