The collection is more than 32 percent increase in the total GST collection at the national level. As per the data released by the Central Government, compared to Chhattisgarh, the GST collection in Madhya Pradesh was 16 percent. The GST collection in Punjab (29%), Andhra Pradesh (28%), Kerala (27%), Bihar (21%), Uttar Pradesh (18%), West Bengal (15%), Uttarakhand, Karnataka and Rajasthan (12%).<\/p>\n<p>Despite global Covid-19 pandemic and followed by stricter lockdown and other challenging situations, the pace of economic activities in the state sustained under the <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/leadership\">Leadership<\/a> of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. The fallout of pandemic was largely unaffected in <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/<a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/agriculture\">Agriculture<\/a>-notes-for-state-psc-exams&#8221;>Agriculture<\/a> and forest sectors.The  extended additional incentives through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to 19 lakh farmers. In the current Kharif season 2021, as scope of the scheme has been further extended, more farmers have been included. The scheme would now cover 22 lakh farmers.As part of <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/employment\">EMPLOYMENT<\/a> opportunities created, the collection of forest produce was highest in the state. Additionally, the value addition of forest produce and livelihood activities was undertaken.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from this, under the <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/mahatma-gandhi\">Mahatma Gandhi<\/a> Employment Guarantee Scheme, continuous employment was provided in rural areas.
