During exploration of iron <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/ore\">Ore<\/a> in the location,RSMETcame across copper deposits at shallow depths.<\/p>\n<p>The additional chief secretary of mines and petroleum, Subodh Agarwal said, Through RSMET, the department is getting 3,500 metre drilled for iron ore in Chandgarh village of Kotdi, Bhilwara. In the early stages of exploration, there are indications of not only iron ore but copper deposits as well.<\/p>\n<p>About 54% of the highest copper deposits in the country are in Rajasthan. Jharkhand and<u>Madhya Pradesh<\/u>come after Rajasthan.<\/p>\n<p>Rajasthan is <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/home\">Home<\/a> to the largest reserves and <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/resources\">Resources<\/a> of copper in the country, estimated at 813 million tonne (53.81%).
