Nearly 48% of parents with a high level of Education<\/a> in the rural areas have preferred government schools for their children, says the Annual Survey of Education Report 2021 tabled last week. The report says in the pandemic year, enrolments in government schools increased by 19% due to the shifting of students from private to public schools.<\/p>\n

The report is based on random survey methodology with samples taken from rural areas stamped that government schools are fast churning into citadels of quality Learning<\/a>. The report divided the admissions into three categories according to parents’ education-Low, Medium and High. The report says that 47.8% of students admitted to government schools belonged to parents whose education level is high.<\/p>\n
