A total of 50,000 kg of seeds of fruit bearing trees and 25 lakh seed balls are to be sown in different forest divisions.<\/p>\n

Forest Minister Mohammed Akbar announced this on Saturday at a meeting with officials here to review the event.<\/p>\n

Under the programme, ber (jujube), jamun (jambul), Bel<\/a> (wood apple), sitaphal (custard apple), karaunda (gooseberry) and munga (drumsticks) and others will be planted or sprayed or sown through seed ball spreading.<\/p>\n

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Rakesh Chaturvedi said every forest division has to sow 1,000-3,000 kg of fruit bearing trees and one lakh seed balls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
