WhileCM Shindesaid budget rolled out an economic vision that would supportMaharashtra<\/u>‘s efforts to become a $1 trillion economy<\/a>, the opposition described it as disappointing, alleging there was no allocation of special funds for the state.<\/p>\n

CM Shinde said substantial provision had been made for all sectors. “This is a budget which will support the poor, provide relief to the middle-class, boost industries and Infrastructure<\/a>. It strikes a balance between urban and rural areas,” he added.<\/p>\n

Rs 10 lakh crore has been allocated for infrastructure. It will benefit various projects in Maharashtra. Small-scale industries in Maharashtra are considered the most efficient in the country. The proposed amendments in the credit guarantee scheme will make these small enterprises more productive.
