Jharkhand<\/u>has witnessed an improvement in girls Education<\/a> as far as the dropout rate is concerned, according to the data of the Union ministry of Women<\/a> and child development (MWCD).<\/p>\n

The data said the transition rate the number of girls joining a higher class after being promoted has increased from 83.50% in 2018 to 87.26% in 2022 in classes V and VI. Similarly, the transition rate from Class VIII to IX has increased from 78.7% in 2018 to 79.95% in 2022.<\/p>\n

The data was provided during a zonal meet on Aspirational districts The impact on women and children’ organised by the MWCD in collaboration with the Jharkhand government here on Saturday.
