On the eve of the International Day for Older Persons, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced a Helpline facility for senior citizens to start from November 1, the foundation day of the state.<\/p>\n
An official communiqu said the helpline would assist elderly persons whose children are working in other parts of the country or abroad.<\/p>\n
Such elderly persons can call the Helpline in case of medical emergency. The administration will provide them necessary care, the communiqu said.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister has told the Chief Secretary to make necessary arrangements for starting the Helpline.<\/p>\n
Baghel said it was the government’s moral duty to help such persons who have contributed to nation building.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
