Of the 6,600 government middle schools, around 900 schools have more than 100 students studying from classes VI to VIII. These schools dont have subject teachers.<\/p>\n

He announced expanding the model schools to 13 more districts covering all 38 districts in the state. The minister said Rs 250 crore was allocated for the model schools in the budget.<\/p>\n

He announced establishing two Sports<\/a> schools of excellence in each district at a cost of Rs 9 crore. Government higher secondary schools without HISTORY<\/a> and commerce groups would have the third group in a phased manner, Poyyamozhi said.<\/p>\n
