Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Monday informed the Rajya Sabha that the Centre is yet to enforce the gazette notification on Krishna and Godavari river management boards due to the non-cooperation from both AP andTelangana.<\/p>\n

As per the schedule mentioned in the gazette notification, both KRMB and GRMB should have taken over all projects on Krishna and Godavari from October 14. The Centre had issued the draft notification on July 15, giving a time of 90 days to both the state governments to hand over the installations, including power stations, to the respective boards.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
