Spread over 100 acres, the centre has come up at Barwe village in Ormanjhi block of Ranchi district, 22 km from the state capital. Located on the Ormanjhi-Boriyo road, the facility houses one male langoor and two male sloth bears which were freed from human captivity in the last six months.<\/p>\n

Envisaged over 16 years ago, the work for the centre began in 2019 after the then CMRaghubar Das<\/u>sanctioned a budget of Rs 8.20 crore. Three years later, the centres enclosures for deer, leopards and primates and a moat for the bear have been readied.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
