According to a recent survey, more than 55 percent of children in Jharkhand did not receive Supplementary Nutrition<\/a> under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) even once during the first six months of 2021.<\/p>\n

Highlights:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the National Family Health<\/a> Survey-4 data, every second child in the state is stunted and underweight, every third child are stunted, every 10 children are severely wasting, and about 70% of children are anemic.<\/p>\n

About Integrated Child Development Services<\/a> (ICDS):<\/strong>
It is a central funding scheme launched in 1975.
It is implemented by the Women<\/a> and Child Development Ministries.
